Unique Antique Brownfield Trembleuse Tea Cup & Saucer, Aesthetic Style
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Brownfield in the 1860s. It is a trembleuse cup and saucer with the cup fitting into a deep well so that it will not slide off the saucer.
The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is beautifully hand painted with violets and foliage.
The contrast of the vivid colors against the pure white porcelain accentuates the purity and beauty of nature. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold.FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
