Outstanding Vintage Condition - Minor wear on base, no chips, cracks or crazing. Yellow flower shape Teacup and Saucer, trimmed in gold, Stylized Cicada on handle. Suspect it was manufactured during "Made in Occupied Japan Era" 1945 - 1952, During this time the Japanese had to mark 50% of exports as "Made in Occupied Japan".Measurements: Tea Cup - 2" T x 2 1/2" W Saucer 4 1/4" A x 3/4" D. I suspect it came from a set of 4 Teacups with bugs significant in Japanese Culture - Cicada, Butterfly, Firefly and Dragonfly.
