Spode Red & Gold Medallions Green Leaves Yellow Tea Cup & Saucer C1800-1815 E

  

Decorated with a yellow band with green laurel leaves and medallions with red and gold leaves. Gold gilding along the edge and gold leaf designs below. Has crazing typical of British porcelain, wear to the gilding and wear consistent with age and use, and some staining, a 1/4 inch hairline extending off the lip of the cup, an approximately 7/8 inch hairline and an approximately 1/4 inch hairline extending off the back edge of the saucer. The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall.

The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
