This lovely set of Limoges is in great condition -- no chips, cracks, or repairs. The only roughness that I could feel is at the edge of one of the saucers; it appears to be a manufacturing flaw, as it is smoothly glazed over. It is so minor, I had difficulty capturing it in the photos. (shown in the last 2 pictures). There is some slight wear to the transfer in some spots on the saucers (as can be seen on the "ribs" in the closeups).
I tried my best to track down the pattern, and I believe it is Schleiger 146. One of the cups & saucers (upper left) does not match the rest, having both a slightly different pattern and blank. All have lovely Apple Blossom transfers and gold daubs. Manufactured for Dulin & Martin Co, Washington D. I believe the mark is from 1903.
From my grandmother's attic to your table! Please note that I have additional matching & coordinating Limoges listed. Schleiger 146 Old Apple Blossom? 6 cups & 6 saucers.
