Shelley MELODY Chintz Oleander Cup & Saucer Mint Green

  
Shelley MELODY Chintz Cup & Saucer - Oleander - Mint Green. 2 " high with a 4 " top diameter. Shape: Oleander Base color: Mint/Pastel Green It is gently used and overall quite a great piece. It shows nicely and would be a lovely addition to your Shelley collection. I'm a real tough judge. I'm your eyes since you can't hold and inspect it yourself. The cup and saucer both have some discoloration/staining on the foot.

It is more visible/darker on the saucer & much, much paler on the cup (see pics). There are a few voids/loss in the gold on the handle of the cup (see pics). The rest looks great - is bright & shiny. The gold on the saucer has almost no loss to the gold - just a very small handful of spots - so small you can't really see it, but there is an area which is not as smooth as the rest. It appears to be from production.

On some of the higher point/riged areas of the saucer, the mint green coloring is super light - some almost like they were missed while painting - and appear white. These are faint and not readily visible.

I could not capture it well in the pictures, but if you zoom in on the saucer you may be able to see it. There are some usage/stacking marks on the center of the saucer.

Free from nicks, chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or additional found issues. Both resonate when lightly pinged.
