DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful set of four antique teacups by Foley China of England. The set is composed of 4 teacups and saucers, and dates to the turn of the 20th century and each piece is finely crafted and detailed and made of fine porcelain in the "Snowdrop" shape, pattern numbers 272764 and 283973. This design was allocated to Wileman/Shelley and submitted to the Patents Office in the Official Journal of Patents at the Public Records Office at Kew, London, United Kingdom in 1896. The teacups feature a neoclassical-inspired design done in bright Apple Green with gilt accented trim.

Each piece is marked on the bottom accordingly. This rare and beautiful set will make a fine addition to any collection!

CONDITION: The set is in fair to good antique condition, with wear, scuffing, discoloration and patina commensurate with age. There is minor loss to painted and gilded finish. One saucer has a stable spider hairline fracture in its center while another saucer has a large crack and chip across the middle. One teacup has a stable hairline fracture across the bottom; one teacup has inner discoloration and a crack across the front and back - it is not water tight.

Teacups/ea 4-1/8" in length, 3-3/8" in diameter, 2-1/8" in height ; saucers/ea 5-3/4" in diameter, 5/8 in height. Your satisfaction is important to us. It will be our pleasure to leave you great feedback in return!
