This set is light blue with heavy gold gilding. It features a single Royal Warrant which we believe is the warrant of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.
To the best of our knowledge (and with some help of our friends on the internet) this dates this cup and saucer to post 1957. This is a used teacup and saucer, but it is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The gold gilding may show some gentle signs of wear, but overall this is a beautiful example of this pattern.
Please take a close look at the photos. We noticed upon inspection that there is a small blemish on the bottom rim of the saucer. It is visible in the photo if you zoom in. Please keep in mind, we are listing this as used, not pristine or mint. It is lovely, but we do not promise perfection! The teacup itself is a footed cup with a gold gilded ruffled edge. It measures about 2 1/2 inches tall and is about 4 inches wide. The saucer is adorned with its own cabbage rose and gold gilding in the center. It measures about 5 1/2 inches across and also has a ruffled edge with gold gilding. The back stamp reads: By Appointment To Her Majesty The Queen, China Potters, Paragon Fine Bone China, England Regd.
The saucer is numbered A1572/15 (as far as I can tell). Please take a look at my photos a message me with any questions.Unfortunately I have no control over this cost.
