Rare antique Petersyn tea cup and saucer with an astonishing and beautiful esoteric design. The cup is in excellent condition with slight wear to the design consistent with the age. The saucer has light cracking throughout as shown but is fine for use as long as it is handled carefully. This tea cup is intended for reading tea leaves, and the pictures tell the sitters fortune. The designs include the rising sun, a skull and crossbones, a laurel wreath, an open book, a bottle labeled poison! This amazing piece has been lovingly displayed for many years but now I have to downsize my collection of art objects and antiques. Time for someone else to cherish this wonderful piece.
