Peafowl Tea Cup & Saucer Early 19thc. Teabowl Staffordshire Pottery Spongeware

  

Here is an attractive set having a white ground with leaves, and a blue, yellow and red bird. The cup has a hairline crack (shown) directly opposite the bird, plus an original as-made short tear in the saucer rim (5 o'clock) The saucer is 5.75 inches across. The teabowl is 4.15 inches across.
