Paris Tea Cup & Saucer, Hand Painted Flowers, Lavender Colored

  

Condition: Excellent, no defects of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Paris, France in the mid-19th century. Is unmarked but has the distinct characteristics of Paris porcelain of the period.

The saucer has a diameter of 4 7/8 inches and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. Porcelain is quite translucent with a extremely thin handle. The ground color is pale lavender.

There are hand painted sprays of flowers and shafts of wheat on both pieces. The gilded trim is beautifully applied in shiny and matte gold. It is graceful in its delicacy and simplicity. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US. The Post Office requires this.
