The transfer on the teapot is very crisp, where the teacups and saucers are softly blurred. Exceptionally clean finish, and no crazing. The gilding is excellent as well, no wear. The teapot's lid is a marriage from another piece of the same age, and it sits outside the rim, rather than fitting inside. The pot itself is near-mint, with only the smallest rough spot on the spout's lip.
The lid has some wear to the gilt on the finial, and a small chip on the inside rim. No crazing or other condition issues. The cups measure 2" tall and 3.5" across at the rim. The saucers are 5.5" across, and just under 1.25" high at the rim.The teapot is 6.75" tall to the top of the finial, and 8.75" from spout to handle. All items come from a smoke free home.
