CONDITION: Excellent, without flaws of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by the Haviland Co.
Limoges factory in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches.The fine, translucent porcelain has molded details that are highlighted with gold and coloring. The bottom of the cup and well of the saucer have bands of cobalt blue accented with raised gilding. The body of the cup and saucer is decorated with a floral transfer design of blue flowers. Panels of yellow spread across the porcelain.
There are gilded accents around the rims, on the inside of the cup rim and handle. The set has unique high style seldom found. It is a Haviland treasure. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
