A Rare Find: a lovely set dating back to the 1930s in beautiful condition. A gorgeous Aynsley cup and saucer with large Pink Cabbage pattern on a peach background with periwinkle highlights. The stunning design appears on saucer and on the interior and exterior of the tea cup. This special set features one dozen beautiful pink cabbage roses in total with four large cabbage roses on every painted surface. With gold gilt scalloped rims on both cup and saucer, cup also has a gold gilt handle and gold gilt foot. Since then it has been stored in her curio cabinet with minimal to no use at all as I don't remember her ever drinking from it. It remained on display along with her other fine china in the cabinet.

Set is in excellent vintage condition with original factory sticker. The set has no chips, crazing, cracks or staining of any kind. There are no obvious imperfections visible with the naked eye.

Tea Cup measures 2 1/4" high including the 1/4" foot and 3 5/8" in diameter not including the handle which measures approximately 7/8" across the top. The cup is marked 1926 on the bottom. Saucer measures 5 1/2 in diameter and is in perfect condition. Please consider mindfully and look at pictures carefully before purchasing.
