This mark was used by Eugene Marx Clauss (pre Bourdois & Bloch) in Paris between 1868 and 1887. The saucer is marked on the bottom with a pseudo gold Ludwigsburg mark, but is obviously the original matching saucer. I have other pieces to this service listed separately. Has some wear to the gilding.
The saucer has a star shaped / spider hairline on the bottom. Otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
