DAISY Art Nouveau 950 Sterling Silver Tea Cup Saucer French Belle Epoque Floral

  
Beautiful little French antique tea cup and saucer, with Art Nouveau flower design, I believe they are daisies or possibly chrysanthemums? This is an antique piece from the Belle Epoque period that I acquired in France. It is hallmarked and made of. 950 (better than our Sterling standard) Silver. This was made by French silversmith Louis Coignet who operated in Paris from 1889 to 1893. Cup opening measures 2 1/4 inches diameter from rim to rim. 3 3/8 inches from end of the handle to opposite end.

It is a about inches tall to the top of the handle. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Weight is a combined 91 grams. Marked with the French Minerve head hallmark for.

950 sterling silver around the rim and a tiny maker's mark on the underside for Coignet. In estate condition considering age, being from the 1800s. I see a pin ding and 2 nicks, one with a shallow linear impression on the cup.

The saucer also has a linear nick and 2 tiny pinhead nicks and one section of the rim is just barely out of round. There are a few very shallow fingertip impressions on the base rim of the cup where it bows out.
