CONDITION: The cup is slightly yellowed with age. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport around 1820. It is from the Georgian era. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep.
The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. There are reserves inside the cup and around the saucer containing sprays of colorful flowers.There is rich hand painted gilding and trim. The Post Office requires this.
