This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Porcelain Factory in the 1880s. The saucer measures 5 1/4 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches deep.
The cup is 2 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches long and 2 7/8 inches wide. The cup shape is quatrefoil similar to those produced at the Meissen factory. The porcelain is hand painted with colorful sprays of roses, irises, chrysanthemums and other flowers. The borders are hand gilded with a delicate, lacy pattern of gilding. The abundance of pastel flowers and intricate gilding make this cup and saucer a delectable antique delight. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
