Antique Wehsener Dresden Scenic Tea Cup & Saucer

  

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Wehsener Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is decorated in the Royal Vienna style.

The outside of the cup is hand painted with ladies and gentlemen in 18th century dress. The saucer has ornate raised gilding and enamel beading. The inside of the cup has a 1 inch gold border.
