It is marked with hand painted pattern number 2508. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The style of cup is identified as "London Shape".

The fine porcelain is elaborately decorated. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The saucer has a central design with 3 cartouches around the border.

The cup is decorated inside and out. Exotic pheasants, fruit trees and branches of peonies splash color across the surfaces. The gilding is delicate and precise.
