Antique Spode Porcelain London Shape Hand Decorated Imari Tea Cup And Saucer

  
DESCRIPTION : Here is an early 19th century Spode porcelain London shape tea cup and saucer. Hand decorated in the Imari pattern which includes colours of cobalt blue, a light blue, a reddish orange, gilding and green and yellow enamelling. The handle is gilt lined and has a gilt pattern down the back. The cup is also decorated to the inside. Each piece is marked to the base with a red painted Spode over pattern number 2213 with the cup having a workmans mark to the inside of the foot.

Dates to between 1817 to 1819. SIZE : The cup measures 6 cm to top of handle and 8.8 cm in diameter.

The saucer measures 14 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high. Weighs 203 g before packing.
