CONDITION: There is slight wear to the gilding on the handle. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1907. The date code on the bottom indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 5 ¼ inches and the cup is 2 ½ inches high. The porcelain has molded relief designs.
The cup has a puffy, blown-out shape and the saucer is contoured with a wavy edge. The high relief designs are highlighted with gold. It is interesting to see how by just molding each piece and gilding those areas, it created a beautiful effect. The cream and gold complement each other so well.
