This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Paris France by an unknown Paris decorating firm. The portrait has the artist's initials. The diameter of the saucer is 5 ½ inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The portrait is of Anne de l'Enclos or "Ninon" who lived from 1620 to 1705.She was a courtesan and author at the court of King Louis XIV. The portrait is expertly hand painted with fine detail and represents the lady in excellent fashion. The saucer is hand painted with doves, flaming hearts, a straw bonnet, flaming torch, and jester's scepter. Rims of both pieces have lacy gold trim and gilded edges. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
