This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Japan by Morimura Nippon in the 1890s. It has the authentic, blue maple leaf mark. The diameter of the saucer is 5 1/2 inches.

The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. This is one of the most opulently decorated cups and saucers Morimura produced.

There are 3 hand painted scenes on the saucer and the interior of the cup has one large scene. They are framed with beaded gilding. The borders have elaborate raised gilding on a ruby red ground.

The cup has a gracefully curled handle and pedestal base. It is truly a work of art. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.

The Post Office requires this.
