The handles of the teacups are also painted with gold line accents. The porcelain is very high quality. The bottom of the teacups are stamped Hand Painted Nippon, with the Morimura wreath, indicating it was produced by Morimura Brothers.
This stamp was used from about 1911 to about 1921. The style is very similar to other china that the Morimura Brothers later produced in the Noritake line. The teacups measure 4.5" across at the widest point, and are about 1.9" high. The saucers are 5.8 wide and about. This porcelain set of four is in very good condition. There are a couple tiny chips along the edge of one tea cup. One saucer also has tiny chips along the rim.
No crazing, and normal wear and tear. We are not experts, but we try to provide as much information as possible, including pictures from several angles.
