CONDITION: Slight wear to gilding on cup rim. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton around 1825.
It was pictured in Berthouds A Compendium of British Cups, page 143, plate 858. 5 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches.
The porcelain is molded with raised grape leaves. The leaves are accented with gilding. Scenes of English landscape decorate both pieces. Flower sprigs are scattered about.The rims and handle are accented with gold. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US. The Post Office requires this.
