CONDITION: Excellent original condition, first quality mark. For the sake of accuracy, there is a tiny dark spot inside the cup which happened in the firing process. This tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1860s.
The saucer is 5 1/8 inches long. 4 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches high. The set has a quatrefoil or four lobed shape.The decoration is a pattern of stylized flowers in cobalt blue and red, outlined with gold. There is gold trim on the rims and handle.
