Antique KPM Royal Berlin Tea Cup & Saucer
Condition: Excellent, without chips, cracks, wear or repair. 5 inches and the cup is 2 ¼ inches high.
The ground color is deep, cobalt blue. The front of the cup has hand painted cherubs in fine detail and vivid color. The cherub appears to be trying to hide under the cover or is snuggling to keep warm. The scene is framed in a tooled gold frame and surrounded by delicate hand gilding.
The split branch handle is Meissen style. There are other gilded accents and rich gold trim on both pieces.
