Antique Haviland & Co. Limoges Tea Cup & Saucer
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. The diameter of the saucer is 5 5/8 inches. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/4 inches.
The set has molded designs in the porcelain. The cup features an elegant handle.
The borders and trim are deep cobalt blue accented with gold. Panels of turquoise enamel running across each piece. These panels have delicate hand. In between the cobalt borders is a creamy white reserve with tiny pink roses.
Inside the rim of the cup is a border of raised gold and turquoise. It is difficult to describe this masterpiece of porcelain since the design has so many elements in the decoration.
