This antique 16 piece lot of teacups, saucers, cream and sugar is a beautiful example of Japanese culture. The handpainted "Geisha Ware" design adds a touch of elegance to any tea party.
The set is ready to be displayed or used for your next tea gathering. The intricate details of the design make this a unique and valuable addition to any collection. The set is perfect for anyone who appreciates the beauty of Japanese art and teatime traditions. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this stunning piece of history. There is one extra lid included that's not pictured because it doesn't seem to fit anything. A LOT OF THE EDGE PAINTING HAS SOME SORT OF BLISTERING THAT I HAVE NOTICED ON ALL EXAMPLES OF THIS TYPE/STYLE OF PORCELAIN THAT I HAVE SEEN. THIS IS ANTIQUE HAND-PAINTED CHINA THERE WILL BE VARIATIONS. I HAVE FOUND MULTIPLE MINT/MAKERS MARKS IN THIS LOT. MY RESEARCH WOULD INDICATE AGES OF 1880S AT THE EARLIEST 1920 AT THE LATEST.HAND PAINTING ONLY LASTED THROUGH 1920.
