This porcelain tea cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in England around 1850. It is unmarked with only hand painted numbers on the bottom. The plate is 6 inches in diameter.
The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is hand painted with jonquils and foliage.
The colors are bright and stand out against the creamy white porcelain. There is dental gilding on the rims of all the pieces and the handle has a touch of gold. The Post Office requires this.
