Welcome to William Sharpe Antiques. Here today for your consideration we have this superb set of three Edwardian teacup trios, made by Mayer & Sherratt (later Melba China) of England, c-1910. This delightful set has been produced in the Windsor design and features beautiful red floral themes throughout, having black and gilded borders.

Condition is good used overall. Two cups ring dull due to some fine and clean crazing, with the third ringing beautifully but with a fine chip to the rim (refer photos). Two saucers have crazing, one of which and the other having very tight hairlines. One side plate has some clean crazing and a tight hairline, with the other two free from damage.

The set presents beautifully and would be a wonderful addition to your collection. Each plate and saucer has a diameter of about 15cm and 14cm respectively, with the cups standing 5.5cm tall having a diameter of about 8.5cm at the rim.
