This is a wonderful, 12-piece, antique pink luster , porcelain china, child's tea set including (3) three cups with (5) five matching saucers, matching sugar bowl (no cover) and (3) three matching cake plates. The pieces all have their distinctive fluted shape and fancy handles. They show wonderful color transfers of jolly old St.

Nick (Santa, Father Christmas, Belsnickel) arriving in different transportation vehicles (circa 1890s) including a HOT AIR BALLOON, DIRIGIBLE , STEAM LOCOMOTIVE and a very early AUTOMOBILE with a Christmas tree, holly, dolls, drums, horn, horse-on-wheels, candy and other gifts for children gathered below. The set is missing a chocolate or tea pot, sugar lid, creamer and additional cups. What a wonderful and rare set of antique holiday china to display with your antique dolls or playthings.

Condition: one flat plate has a flake on the back and another on front edge, cups have tiny nicks on rim.
