ANTIQUE CHODZIEZ POLAND PORCELAIN CHINA TEAPOT, CREAMER, SUGAR BOWL, AND 12 CUPS WITH SAUCER TEA SET This is a mint condition, highly collectible teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, and 12 cups with saucers by Chodziez made in Poland. The history of the Chodziez faience factory starts in 1852 or 1854 when Hermann Müller and Ludwik Schnorr bought a burnt building of the Grudzinski castle from count Koenigsmarck. The castle building is still in possession of the company.

The backstamp on this tea set is from 1964 (see photos). I fell for the delicate, simplicity of the floral pattern on the teapot, creamer, bowl, and very lightly on the cups. The shape of the cup is very unique. There are no flaws, crazing, fractures, or chips.

No discoloration or errors in the pattern. I just don't have the space! Looking forward to meeting fellow collectors!
