Which is rather unusual and harder to find in decorative items. [They are like the whiskered bats from certain parts of China] It must be remembered that the bat is also called a heavenly rat or a fairy rat. The base color of the cup is white with red bats and creamy golden & red Shou symbols.

There are 18 Bats on the outside if the cup and 3 Shou symbols and the inside of the cup has 24 red bats and 1 Shou symbol. There are Chinese characters written on the bottom. A small carved wooden stand for display is included. The cup measures about 4 and 1/2 inches in diameter at the top and is about 2 and 1/4 inches tall. The condition is very good... This does not detract from the overall beauty and rarity of the piece.
