On offer is an Antique Aynsley Trio comprising a tea cup with saucer and cake plate in the Gold and Cabbage Roses Pattern 1804. Each piece is hand painted and signed by J. Bailey was the highest in demand designer at the Ainsley factory from the 1930s to the 1950s.
He was famed for his cabbage roses painted with a flourish. The exceptional quality is evident in the opulent gilding and the beauty of the design exploding with color. It s rare to find Aynsley china signed by J. Bailey in such good condition. Excellent for antique pre-owned items.
Clear ping on all three pieces. No chips, hairline cracks or restoration.
