A stunning Shelley Art Deco "Chevrons" 11775 Vogue shape tea cup & saucer. Pattern number 11775 Chevrons: Brown print. Broad border inside cup, on saucer and plate of blue chevrons and brown vertical lines.

Triangle outside cup with chevron and vertical lines. Handle has orange border surrounding blue and orange chevrons, with dots above and vertical lines below them. Entered in pattern book during or after 1930. The shape of this cup and saucer is the Vogue shape which was first introduced in 1930. The back stamp is the 1925-40 green cartouche mark.

Dimensions: tea cup base 47mm (1.8 inches) / distance across top of cup 99mm (3.9 inches) / height of cup 65mm (2.6 inches) / saucer 139mm (5.5 inches) Condition: Both pieces are in excellent clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching or signs of wear. 1 tiny black mark on outer part of cup underneath triangle towards base. All paintwork is in very good order with no fading to the pattern. Both pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped. We do not post to overseas forwarders who are based within the U.
