This is 4 beautiful sets of china antique teacup and saucer sets by Cauldon Ltd. There is an elegant band of gold greek key on the edges of the saucers and on the inside edges of the cups.
The inside of the cups and the saucers are also decorated with swags of small pink roses. The saucers and the cups are lightly fluted, with the edges of both faintly scalloped. These were made by Cauldon specifically for Tiffany & Co. New York, which is printed on the underside of the saucer in pink.
The backstamp under the glaze of CAULDON Ltd England was used starting in 1904, until 1920, when its name changed to Cauldon Potteries Ltd, when the company had financial difficulties. In 1930 their name and backstamp changed to Royal Cauldon. Also on top of the glaze of the saucer is 6576, which is most likely the pattern number. The cups are 4 inches in diameter, stand 2 inches tall, and hold 3/4 cup. The saucers are 5 & 7/8 in diameter.
One set weighs about 9 ounces. The antique sets are in amazing condition, with a little bit of gold loss on the greek key decoration in places.
It looks dark, but the light shines through, so it's a bit of gold loss. Very few and very faint marks on the glaze looking at an angle to the light on the saucer.
There are also no chips, cracks, or crazing and I looked with a flashlight. Please zoom in on pictures and see the 360 degree views on the video for a closer look.
