Description: Here is a mid 19th century (1867) Minton tea cup and saucer. Both cup and saucer are decorated with Celeste blue enamelling and a gilded pattern. Impressed to the base of the saucer with MINTON and a year cipher for 1867 and a the letter F. Measures: Cup: 7cms high and 7.7 cms wide excluding handle. Saucer: 13.6 cms in diameter. Weight: 205 grams before packing. Condition: The cup has minor loss of gilding to the gilt decoration.

It also has discoloured glaze cracks to top and bottom of the handle (please see photos 4 and 5). Some glazing cracks to the blue enamelled borders (please see photo 8). Saucer has very minor gilding wear to rim.
