The edges are finished with a fine line of gold and the baroque bone china bisque is stark white and quite translucent. The saucer is stamped with the tan trade mark as shown, the pattern name SPRAY No. 30 as well as the artist's number 5552 above a number 4 and below a number 5 1894? The cup shows the hand-painted numerals on top of an impressed Reg. That is 6616 above a number 4.
The set was manufactured by William Alsager Adderley & Co. In Longton, Staffordshire, England sometime between 1886 and 1905. Any bright white marks on Cups are as a result of light reflection in Pictures. We sell Genuine Quality Items.
