Vintage Paragon Cup Saucer Set Pink Ground White Cabbage Rose As Is. This is a cup and saucer set in one of the most desirable Paragon patterns of Cabbage Roses, dating to the 1940s. The bold coloring features a deep pink ground with large white cabbage roses with subtle yellow accents. This is the wide mouth cup, measuring 5.5 across to the tip of the handle.
The saucer measures 5 9/16" in diameter and the set sits 2.5" in height. The set displays nicely and appears to have never been used.
BUT there is a crazing crack on the cup. I have photographed the inside/outside (photos 8 & 9). My photos accentuate it: it is unobstrucive and hard to spot. The gold is intact with very few signs of wear. A couple of very minor issues on the saucer having to do with age: a speck of missing pink glaze and a speck of excess glaze on the rim.
The base rims show a little shelf wear as almost all vintage sets do. The set is marked with a double warrant mark. Please review all the photos for a good look at this set and message any questions.
