Vintage Paragon Gilded Tea Cup and Saucer - England. This Paragon tea cup and saucer is Black with Gold Gilding surrounding a Pink Rose. It is beautiful and elegant.

Its mark dates from 1939 1949, around World War II. It has the Royal Warrants mark By Appointment to H.

It is in mint condition and was probably rarely used. I know for the last. It was only displayed in a cabinet. Here are a couple of colored marks on the cup, I did not try and remove them. (Please see pictures for details). No chips, cracks or crazing! The tea cup and saucer are round shaped with a lightly scalloped gold rim. The cup has a gold detailed handle and gold detailed pedestal base. The main color of the set is black with gold gilding and a pink rose in the center. The pattern number looks to be A1485, but it is a little hard to make out. Tea Cup Measures: 4 across and 2 1/8 tall, the saucer is 5 ½ across.
