Vintage Aynsley England Bone China, England. It is my opinion that the rare Aynsley Chrysanthemum/Butterfly cabinet set is THE pentacle of fine tea cup collecting! This set is amazing and is in displayed only condition. Pattern consisits of hand-painted butterfly on large white Chrysanthemum flower, bordered in haeavy gold.

Application is a combination of transfer print and hand applied enamels. Footed cup and saucer is trimmed with lots of gold gilt trim and accents.

Standard size cup and saucer. I find only one small contact mark near center of the saucer (see photo). Please excuse the many white light reflections (see photos). Matching green Aynsley c1930s - 1960s backstamps with hand-applied pattern number.
