SIGNED AYNSLEY TEACUP & SAUCER #1053 - COBALT BLUE WITH FLORAL CENTRE. The Saucer is white on the bottom and a deep rich cobalt blue on the top of the Saucer with a white centre where the Teacup sits. The outside of the Teacup is the same deep cobalt blue as the Saucer, the inside of the Teacup has a light yellow background with a beautiful cluster of flowers in shades of red, blue, purple and green with a gorgeous pink rose in the center of the teacup.

Both pieces are trimmed in a rich gold gilding including the foot of the Teacup and the handle, it enhances the beauty of this Set even more. Inside the cup it is sign by the Artist J.

The Teacup measures approximately 3-11/16" in diameter x 2-1/4" high and the Saucer measures approximately 5-5/8 in diameter. The Set is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are some very fine scratches on the Saucer understandable with age and storage(scratches are only visible if you turn the Saucer to the light). Looking at the condition it looks like the Set was used for display. Please take the time to view the pictures for a more detailed description and a closer look.
