Paragon Queen Mary Hand Painted Tea Cup and Saucer. A elegant and beautifully designed Paragon tea cup and saucer hand painted by H. Features cobalt blue bands with cream and white panels with hand painted florals on cup interior and saucer. Each panel is accented in luxurious gold laurel leaf design.

The cup and saucer centre has a white background with hand painted floral. Artist signature is featured in the centre. The cup is footed with gold bands, gold gilt loop handle and thumb rest featuring gold laurel leaf design on the exterior.

The detailing and quality of this tea cup is exceptional. Queen Mary was the grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II and this service was commissioned by her after husband King George V was crowned King of England. This reissue was made between the late 1920 and 1934. This elegant tea cup and saucer would make a splendid addition to any afternoon tea table or cabinet collection.
