Antique spode Etruscan 3614 cup and saucer pink rosses gold serpent handle

This last one has a crack Under handle. Superb Spode Etruscan Serpent Handle Cup & Saucer with Roses circa1817.

I Aldo have other pieces on the same/ similar pattern(please see last picture). Description This superb 19th Century Etruscan shape Cup which has a handle in the form of a Serpent and matching Saucer were made by Spode, they date to around 1817-25. They are decorated in a stunning pattern of Gilt and Pink Roses which is pattern 3614, the pattern number and Spode mark iare is on the base of both pieces.

An identical Cup in the same pattern is illustrated on page 110 (plate 655) of "A Compendium of British Cups ". 11 sets are in good condition, no chips, cracks or restoration, the decoration is also in good order, one set has antique staple Repair. Size: Saucer 5.75" (14.5cms) in diameter, Cup 3.75" (9.5) cms across rim, 2 (5 cms)high.
